Robin Kissell Obituary

Robin M. Kissell, 62, of Avis, passed away Thursday, October 10, 2024 at Lock Haven Rehabilitation and Senior Living, surrounded by her loving family.
Born November 25, 1961 in Lock Haven, she was the daughter of the late Charles L. Shirk, Sr. and Betty Evers Shirk.
Robin was a graduate of Bald Eagle Nittany High School and spent many years as a caregiver for the elderly.
On August 29, 1993 in Mill Hall, she married Edward Kissell, who survives.
Robin enjoyed playing bingo and going out to camp with her family. Most of all, she adored and loved spending time with her grandchildren and was looking forward to the arrival of her first great grandchild.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Sabrina (Douglas, Jr.) Darby and Ashley Kissell, both of Lock Haven; three step-sons, Shane Kissell of Linden, Brandon (Becky) Kissell of Lock Haven and Jason (Gary) Pop of Colorado; two brothers, Dave (Robin) and Dean (Sharon) Shirk; a sister, Kathy (Stephen) Packer; nine grandchildren: Skyler, Kaitlyn, Olivia, Gabriel, Khye, Gabe, Eleanor, Mitzie and Ettison; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Robin was preceded in death by a step-son, Michael Kissell; two brothers, Charles Shirk, Jr. and John Shirk, Sr.; and a sister, Diane Lannan.
Per Robin's request, private services will be held at the convenience of her family.
