Roger Dean Nixon

Roger Dean Nixon, 67, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 21, 2023.
He was born on July 8, 1955 in Philipsburg, the son of the late William C. Nixon and Dorothy Blake.
Roger was a 1973 graduate of Lock Haven High School. After graduating he married the love of his life, Sharon Conway, on October 6, 1973.
Roger lived in South Florida for many years before moving back to Pennsylvania in 1996. He was involved in many children ministries in both Florida and Pennsylvania. He was an avid baker, florist, artist, chef, gardener, and craftsman. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren and great-granddaughter, Sophia.
Roger is survived by his wife, Sharon; his two children, Heather and John; three grandchildren, Alaina, Taylor and Skyler; and a great granddaughter, Sophia. He is also survived by his twin brother, Richard of Arizona; and many nieces and nephews.
Roger was preceded in death by his brothers, John and Billy Nixon.
A celebration of Roger's life will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at 11 AM at Big Woods Bible Church, 241 S. Hanna Street, Lock Haven, PA 17745 with Pastor Tim Boger officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to Big Woods Bible Church.
