Ronald L. Drake

Ronald L. Drake, Sr., 78, of Lock Haven, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, May 6, 2026.
Born on October 4, 1947, in Lock Haven, he was the son of the late Clayton and Helen Jozefik Drake.
Ron was a 1967 graduate of Lock Haven High School. He dedicated many years of employment to Woolrich Woolen Mills and spent 30 years doing lawn care and snow removal for many local residents.
A faithful member of Holy Spirit Catholic Parish, Ron attended St. Agnes Catholic Church in Lock Haven. He enjoyed spending time with his family and will be remembered for his quiet strength and kind heart.
Ron enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He also had a fond love for Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.
Surviving are his son, Ronald L. (Sara) Drake, Jr. of Florida; three grandchildren, Ronald, III, Steven and Jacob Drake; and many nieces and nephews
In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his son, Steven Allen Drake; and his siblings, Gary Drake, Ruth Ann Drake, and Jimmy Drake, Robert Drake and Pam Bottorf.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at 10 A.M. at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 3 E. Walnut Street, Lock Haven, with Rev. Father Joseph Orr officiating. Interment will follow at St. Agnes Cemetery, Lock Haven.
Family and friends will be received Monday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High Street, Flemington.
Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to Holy Spirit Catholic Parish.
