Sandra M. (Swope) Gallagher

Sandra M. Gallagher, 76, of Mill Hall, passed away Friday, December 20, 2019 at UPMC Susquehanna Hospital.

Born April 5, 1943 in Bellefonte, she was the daughter of the late Harry F. and Virginia D. Fisher Swope.

Sandra was a 1961 graduate of Bald Eagle Nittany High School.

On June 20, 1964, she married her love, Ronald L. Gallagher, who preceded her in death January 30, 2019.

Sandra worked for several local health providers as a Lab Technician and retired from Geisinger of Lock Haven.

She was an active member of the Mt. Bethel United Church of Christ, Mill Hall.

Sandra enjoyed crafting, sewing, reading and baking. Most of all, she loved the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by three daughters, Jody Gallagher of Lattimer Mines, Patricia (Dwane) Kline of Horseheads, NY and Karen (Scott) Andrus of Lock Haven; three grandchildren: Morgan Kline, Alexandria Kline and Nicholas Andrus; a sister, Shirley (Richard) Lingle of Shamokin Dam, Shirley’s two children, Matthew Lingle and Mandy (Steve) Miller, and Mandy’s two children, Ava and Gracie Miller; and her beloved Sheltie, Ellie Mae.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Alvin Swope.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 26, 2019 at 3 P.M. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, PA 17745 with Pastor Cindy Killinger officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Mill Hall.

Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 2 P.M. until the time of the service.

Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the Clinton County SPCA or Mt. Bethel United Church of Christ.
