Sara Fisher Obituary
Our hearts broke on Thursday, October 5, 2023 as we said goodbye to our beloved sister and aunt, Sara May Fisher.
Sara was born August 9, 1961 to the late Russell and Patricia Fisher. She was the youngest of four children. She attended Jersey Shore High School. After graduation, Sara moved in with her oldest sister and best friend, Debra Lewis. Her entire life was dedicated to being a second mother to Deb's daughters, Nickie and Marie.
While Sara never had children of her own, she was a second mother to many. Sara enjoyed being a part of Rob, Ryan and Lacey's lives, especially in her later years.
Sara was so loved by family. She enjoyed her great nieces and nephews, but no one quite touched her heart like her great, great niece and nephew, Henry and Eden. She loved them so and they loved her!
Sara enjoyed puzzles, cooking and watching the Dallas Cowboys and Penn State.
Sara also liked dogs. She got many laughs from her sister, Judy's, dogs, Blue and Bitsy, and spent a lot of time talking about them.
Sara lived life by her own rules. She was feisty, strong and incredibly loving.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Patricia Fisher, as well as a brother, Russell Fisher and sister, Debra Lewis.
Surviving is her sister, Judy (Robert) Mundrick; her nieces and nephews: Lacey (Nathan) Laubach, Ryan (Brandi) Mundrick, Rob (Vanessa) Mundrick, Marie (Eric) Weaver and Nichole (Don) Andrus; many great nieces and nephews; three great, great nephews; one great, great niece; and several cousins, aunts and uncles.
