Walter Wagner Obituary

Walter "Satch" Wagner, 89, of Tylersville passed away on Monday, May 26, 2025.
Born in Loganton on March 24, 1936, he was a son of the late George and Ada Duck Wagner.
On June 21, 1958, he married the former Julia A. Miller, with whom he shared nearly 67 years of marriage.
Satch was a truck driver, retiring from Lucas Trucking, Jersey Shore.
He attended Tylersville United Church of Christ.
Satch loved mowing grass and snowmobiling.
He enjoyed driving the Barrel Train at the Nittany Antique Machinery Show at Penns Cave.
In addition to his wife, Julia Wagner of Tylersville, he is survived by his sons, Richard L. Wagner of Milheim and Roger (Stephanie) Wagner of Bellefonte and three grandchildren: Richard Wagner, Jr., Kyle Wagner and Kendra Wagner. Also surviving are his brothers: Gardner (Maxine), Elwood (Collete), Merle (Marilyn), Gene (Bonnie) and Daryl (Lucy) Wagner; and sisters, Betty Derr and Sharon Winans.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Glenn and Robert Wagner and sisters: June Renninger, Lois Emery, Arnice Karstetter and Gloria Snook.
A Graveside Service will be held Saturday, June 28, 2025 at 2 PM at Tylersville Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington.
