William Bridgens Obituary
William E. "Bill" Bridgens, Jr., 53, of Lock Haven, passed away Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born May 2, 1971 in Lock Haven, he was the son of William E. and Pamela Wohlfert Bridgens, Sr., who survive in Lock Haven.
Bill was a 1989 graduate of Lock Haven High School. He drove tractor trailer as an owner and operator for several years before working for PennDot for 20 years.
In 2013, Bill married the former Lisa Ann Newman, who preceded him in death October 6, 2023.
He was a member of the Bald Eagle Rifle League.
Bill enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially going to camp and riding his side-by-side. Beyond all, he loved the time he spent with his grandchildren, whom he adored.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by three children, Cheyenne (Damian) Hand of Renovo, Dallas Bridgens of Renovo and Susan (Zachary) Getgen of Lock Haven; a sister, Jennifer "Sis" (Steve) Butler of Lock Haven; three grandchildren, Liam, Charlette and Bristol; two nieces; and a great niece.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
