William English

William "Bill" Henry English, 52, of Jersey Shore, passed away Monday, April 8, 2024 at his home.
Born February 27, 1972 in Avis, he was the son of William C. And Sandra Walker English, who survive in Jersey Shore.
Bill was a 1990 graduate of Jersey Shore High School.
Following graduation, Bill served in the United States Army before transferring into the National Guard and Reserves. After his honorable discharge, he remained actively involved in the local Young Marine youth program.
On November 22, 2003, Bill married the love of his life, the former Stacy R. Glossner, who survives.
For many years, Bill played both slow pitch and fast pitch softball in local leagues and enjoyed coaching both of his daughter's softball teams over the years.
In addition to his parents and wife, he is survived by two daughters, Kyra M. English and Rika J. English, both of Jersey Shore; a brother, Mike (Julie) English of Nippenose; three nephews; a niece; two great nephews; and one great niece.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Amanda English.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, April 15, 2024 at 1 P.M. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High Street, Flemington, PA 17745. Burial with Military Honors will follow.
Friends and family will be received for a time of viewing on Monday from 12 P.M. until the time of the service.
