William E. Zimmerman, Jr., 65, of Lock Haven passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, May 17, 2026.
Born August 6, 1960 in Chambersburg, he was a son of the late William E. Zimmerman, Sr. and Cecelia (Hrimnak) Zimmerman.
Bill proudly served in the United States Army Reserves.
On March 7, 1981, he married his best friend, Sherry Zimmeran, who preceded him in death in 2025.
By trade, Bill was a mechanic, having worked at various locations including Masorti's Auto Repair.
He was a member of Holy Spirit Parish.
Bill was also a member of Central Pennsylvania Street Machines and enjoyed attending their car shows, where he proudly displayed the restoration work he had done on his '73 Camaro.
Not only did he collect die-cast models, but he also manufactured some of his own die-cast trucks.
Most of all, Bill loved spending time with his family.
Surviving is his daughter, Serita (Lynn, III) Hakin of Lock Haven and grandchildren: Lydia Quiggle, Braxton Marconi and Lynn Hakin, IV.
Along with his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Tiffany R. Zimmerman and brothers, John M. Zimmerman and Lynn D. Rote.
A service will be held on Friday, May 22, 2026 at 11 AM at Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington. Interment will be at St. Agnes Cemetery, Lock Haven.
Friends and family will be received on Thursday from 6 until 8 PM at the funeral home.
